IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR MEMBERS & GUESTS VISTING THE CLUB ON SATURDAY 3 JULY 2021

This Saturday two of our club members are getting married and are having their reception and evening celebration at the club. This is the third time of asking for them because of the pandemic and they were relieved that the recent relaxing of the rules meant they could go ahead. We wish them all the best and so pleased that they can finally get married.

This means that the function room and outside terrace will be out of bounds for club members on Saturday for the whole of the day. I am sure we all agree that this is a small price to pay to ensure the happy couple can have the day they have wished for now for nearly two years.

We are aware that the England football game is on the TV at 20.00 on Saturday night but obviously we will be unable to show the game on the large screen in the function room. We are restricted to numbers in the lounge so when we have the maximum allowed then I am afraid we will not be able to allow anyone else in. 

So if you were thinking of coming to the club as a ‘big’ crowd of friends I would suggest you make alternative arrangements to avoid disappointment if we are at capacity when you arrive. Of course the game is on terrestrial TV anyway.
