Gateshead Family Fun Day
July 11 @ 13:00 - 17:00
Gateshead Family Fun Day is an annual event that has been running for well over 30 years starting off initially as the Rugby Club’s Garden Fete. However, over the last 5 years or so we have made a big effort to integrate the event into the wider community in Low Fell and Gateshead, and attract a much wider audience. This has proved a huge success and we usually attract a large number of visitors during the day-long event (especially if the weather is good).
Although the Rugby Club is open all day, the Fun Day runs from 13.00 ’til 17.00-ish, followed by live music until 20.00.
We will have face painting and glitter art, as well as craft activities from The creation Station.
There will be a great new selection of stalls and games for you to try, as well as our popular book stall, bric-a-brac and tombola.
We will also be bring back our delicious BBQ, gin bar and beach bar.
