Bryan Lightford Snr : RIP

Message from Bryan Lightford’s son:

Dad passed away on 27th April.  After being ill for a number of months, he contracted coronavirus whilst in NHS care and this took him from us. His funeral is at Saltwell Crematorium on 15th May at 9.00am. Obviously due to current social distancing rules, it will be family only inside the chapel. As far as I understand it is possible for people who wish to pay their respects, that this can be done in the grounds of the Crem at the time of the funeral, whilst maintaining social distancing principles. As this may change, anyone wishing to attend should check with the Crem.  We will be having family flowers only, but if anyone wishes to make a donation, these can be made to the following charities:

Obviously we’d like to give him a send off at the club, but clearly this isn’t possible right now. However we will arrange this when things open up.
